It all started when…

we were planning our summer and my 7 year old decided he wanted to create his own forest camp and I knew I wanted to work on healing arts projects in nature. We came up with the idea of forest + healing arts = fhart camp, then burst into laughter. It is totally true though, all of this is much better out than in.

Community, child-led play, connection with nature, authentic sharing, self expression, emotional intelligence, healing arts & well…fart jokes.

The northernmost entrance to the park (parking and restrooms available)

People of all ages & genders are welcome

Adults are responsible for own child(ren).
Fhart Camp is a meetup, not a drop off camp.

We won’t meet during extreme heat or thunderstorms; any event cancellations will be shared via email day of around 8 am

- Hike to our spot
- Acknowledgment of the traditional Native inhabitants of the land
- Open space
- Introduce theme & healing arts activity
- Share/listen within a mindfulness framework
- Adults have time for their own restorative practice, solo time is respected
- Being and playing in a beautiful setting on a summer day

Everything is optional. You are trusted to know what is best for you/yours.

Art supplies are provided. You are invited to bring your own towel or blanket to sit on, journaling and art supplies, picnic, litter trash bag, bug spray, sunblock and anything else that makes sense for you/yours.

While there may be therapeutic effects, I am not a therapist and this is not a replacement for therapy. This is community building around nature, play, self awareness and creative expression.
